이렇게 하는 것은 말씀을 믿나, 믿지 않나를 시험해 보는 것입니다.

그러므로 가장 빈핍한 민족이 백의민족이요, 가장 빈핍한 사람이 기도의 사람이요, 가장 빈핍한 사람이 양심의 사람입니다. 우리는 물질에 국한된 인격을 가지지 말고 하나님의 응답을 받는 인격을 가져야만 될 것입니다.

아브라함이 고향을 떠나서 시련 중에서도 낙심치 않고 기도할 때 네 씨가 이방의 객이 되어 400년 동안 압박을 당하다가 내가 그 압박 속에서 그들을 징벌하고 네 자손을 인도하여 가나안 복지에 새로운 왕국을 이루겠다고 언약을 세우셨습니다.
그 언약이 이루어질 때에 애굽에 내려가서 바로에게 압박을 당하는 자리에서 모세의 간곡한 기도를 들으시고 응답을 내리어 그 민족을 강권으로 인도하여 가나안 복지에 다윗 왕국을 이루었습니다.

이제 어떤 자에게 응답이 오느냐는 것을 성경을 통하여 말합니다. 응답을 받는 사람이 누구냐 하는 것을 본문에서 깨달은 자가 조금도 이 본문을 통하여 새로운 힘을 얻지 못한다면 그야말로 영원히 지렁이 같은 인간이 될 것이로되 이 본문을 통하여 새 힘을 얻고 용기 있게 나가는 자라면 새 타작기 같이 강하게 쓰여 질 것입니다.

이제 어떤 사람이 여호와를 자랑하게 될 것인가 하는데 대하여 본 성경을 보아서 알 수가 있습니다.

벌써 빈민의 자녀들에게 이런 기도의 힘이 임한 것은 가련하고 빈핍한 자에게 축복이 올 증거입니다.

그러므로 가장 빈핍한 민족이 백의민족이요, 가장 빈핍한 사람이 기도의 사람이요, 가장 빈핍한 사람이 양심의 사람입니다. 우리는 물질에 국한된 인격을 가지지 말고 하나님의 응답을 받는 인격을 가져야만 될 것입니다.

성경 말씀이 세상에 기록되어질 때도 시련 가운데 기도하는 종에게 응답이 오면서 묵시의 말씀이 나타났고 그 말씀이 이루어질 때도 시련 가운데 기도하는 종에게 응답으로 이루어지는 것입니다.
아브라함이 고향을 떠나서 시련 중에서도 낙심치 않고 기도할 때 네 씨가 이방의 객이 되어 400년 동안 압박을 당하다가 내가 그 압박 속에서 그들을 징벌하고 네 자손을 인도하여 가나안 복지에 새로운 왕국을 이루겠다고 언약을 세우셨습니다.
그 언약이 이루어질 때에 애굽에 내려가서 바로에게 압박을 당하는 자리에서 모세의 간곡한 기도를 들으시고 응답을 내리어 그 민족을 강권으로 인도하여 가나안 복지에 다윗 왕국을 이루었습니다.

이와 같이 인간 종말의 말기에도 시련 가운데 부르짖는 종들에게 응답이 내리어 새로운 시대가 올 것을 가르친 것이 오늘 본문입니다.
이제 어떤 자에게 응답이 오느냐는 것을 성경을 통하여 말합니다. 응답을 받는 사람이 누구냐 하는 것을 본문에서 깨달은 자가 조금도 이 본문을 통하여 새로운 힘을 얻지 못한다면 그야말로 영원히 지렁이 같은 인간이 될 것이로되 이 본문을 통하여 새 힘을 얻고 용기 있게 나가는 자라면 새 타작기 같이 강하게 쓰여 질 것입니다.

무엇으로 보든지 동방의 극동은 불행스러운 정부, 불행스러운 국민이라고도 할 수 있습니다. 그러나 하나님의 비밀은 동방 땅 끝에서 여호와를 자랑하리라고 말씀한 이것은 하나님은 끝날 에도 셈의 장막에서 역사한다는 뜻이 내포되어 있습니다.
이제 어떤 사람이 여호와를 자랑하게 될 것인가 하는데 대하여 본 성경을 보아서 알 수가 있습니다.

자세히 말하자면 씨 뿌리는 시대는 교회가 은밀한 가운데서 각자 각자가 하나님과 교통하는 생활이었으나 새 시대가 오는 종말기의 역사는 만민 앞에 여호와를 높이 자랑하는 것입니다. 이것은 모든 일이 다 세상이 알도록 끝을 맺기 때문입니다.

우리나라가 남의 나라보다도 가련과 빈핍이 닥쳐왔지만, 종말에 세계 통일의 역사는 동방 땅 끝의 남은 땅이 되는 우리나라에 임할 것입니다.
하나님을 대적하는 공산당이 아시아 땅의 모든 교회를 다 짓밟게 하고 동방 땅 끝 이 나라에만 교회를 남기고, 남의 나라보다도 부르짖는 기도를 많이 하게 하신 것은 벌써 이 나라에 응답이 오는 증거입니다.
벌써 빈민의 자녀들에게 이런 기도의 힘이 임한 것은 가련하고 빈핍한 자에게 축복이 올 증거입니다.

만일 지금도 시험을 해보지 않고 준다면 또다시 부패가 있게 될 것입니다. 그러므로 시험을 해보고 응답 받는 자로써 이루어지는 새 땅은 에덴동산보다도 더 완전한 왕국이 됩니다. 완전이라는 것은 응답으로만이 이루어지기 때문입니다. 응답은 시련을 통과한 자에게 오기 때문입니다. 그러므로 그리스도를 믿어 중생을 받은 이스라엘이 됨으로가 완전이 아니요, 이스라엘이 된 백성으로 시련 가운데 낙심하지 않고 기도함으로써 응답의 열매가 즉 새로운 시대를 성도의 나라로 이루게 되는 것입니다.
다시 말하면 이것은 창조를 받은 사람만이 아니요, 인정을 받은 사람으로서 이루어지는 새 시대니 하늘과 땅과 산천초목이 다 같이 기뻐할 일입니다.
