* 사7:16~17. 대저 이 아이가 악을 버리고 선을 택할 줄 알기 전에 너의 미워하는 두 왕이 땅이 폐한 바 되리라 여호와께서 에브라임이 유다를 떠날 때부터 당하여 보지 못한 날을 너와 네 백성과 네 아비 집에 임하게 하시리니 곧 앗수르 왕의 오는 날이니라.

* 사7:18~22. 그날에는 여호와께서 애굽 하수에서 먼 지경의 파리와 앗수르 땅의 벌을 부르시리니 다 와서 거친 골짜기와 바위틈과 가시나무 울타리와 모든 초장에 앉으리라.  그날에는 주께서 하수 저편에서 세내어 온 삭도 곧 앗수르 왕으로 네 백성의 머리털과 발 털을 미실 것이요 수염도 깎으시리라. 그날에는 사람이 한 어린 암소와 두 양을 기르리니 그 내는 젖이 많으므로 뻐터를 먹을 것이라 무릇 그 땅 가운데 남아 있는 자는 뻐터와 꿀을 먹으리라.

* 강해) 이 앗수르가 내려오는 날은 그 세력이 이스라엘을 다 점령하고 자기 마음대로 하기를 주의 백성의 머리털과 발털, 수염까지 깎아 갈 삭도 같이 강해지되 하나님께서 어린 암소와 양을 기르듯이 그 땅에 남은 자로 축복을 받게 한다는 것입니다. 이제 임마누엘이 나와서 악을 버리고 선을 택할 때가 되면 앗수르가 내려오는데 남방은 애굽이요 북방은 앗수르인데 북방 앗수르가 벌과 같고 남방 애굽은 파리 같은 그 세력이 들어오는데 이것들이 예루살렘을 침투해 들어와서 막 짓밟을 때에 그때에 임마누엘이 나타나서 새 시대가 오는 데는 아무리 북방 앗수르가 삭도같이 강해서 인력으로 당할 수 없는 그런 악하고 포학한 세력이 나오는데 삭도로 수염을 깎고 발털을 깎고 머리털을 깎듯이 그런 강한 세력을 가지고 들어오지마는 임마누엘이가 북방 세력을 다 없이 하고 반드시 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 새 시대가 온다는 말입니다.
미가 선지도 똑 같은데 심판 때 앗수르는 공산당이 되는 것입니다. 이스라엘을 짓밟던 앗수르가 있듯이 인간 종말에 기독교를 짓밟는 앗수르가 또 나온다는 것입니다. 그때 남은 자들이 새 시대 축복을 받는 것입니다. 여기서 북방 앗수르는 벌과 같고 삭도와 같은 세력인데 공산당을 말하고 남방 애굽은 파리 같고 저울을 든 자본주의 세력인데 부패해서 앞으로 있을 중동전쟁 즉 3차 세계 대전에서 패하게 됩니다.

  북방의 세력이 아무리 삭도 같이 강하게 세력을 잡고 나간다 하여도 필연코 승리는 임마누엘에게 있게 된다는 것입니다. 왜냐하면 하나님께서 모략적인 방법으로 북방을 들어서 쓰는 것이니 이것은 하나님이 함께하시는 남은 자로 새 시대를 이루게 할 목적입니다. 우리는 금일에 북방이 강해지는 것은 필연코 우리 기독교가 승리할 징조입니다. 왜냐하면 이사야를 통하여 말씀을 기록하게 한 목적이 인간의 힘으로 할 수 없는 일을 하나님께서 해주신다는 목적으로 어려운 난국을 당하는 선지들에게 묵시를 받아서 기록하게 한 것입니다.

* 사7:23~25. 그날에는 천 주에 은 일천 개의 가치 되는 포도나무 있던 곳마다 질려와 형극이 날 것이라 온 땅에 질려와 형극이 있으므로 살과 활을 가지고 그리로 갈 것이요 보습으로 갈던 산에도 질려와 형극 까닭에 두려워서 그리로 가지 못할 것이요 그 땅은 소를 놓으며 양의 밟는 곳이 되리라.
