* 사18:1~3. 슬프다 구스의 강 건너편 날개 치는 소리 나는 땅이여 갈대배를 물에 띄우고 그 사자를 수로로 보내며 이르기를 너희 경첩한 사자들아 너희는 강들이 흘러 나누인 나라로 가되 장대하고 준수한 백성 곧 시초부터 두려움이 되며 강성하여 대적을 밟는 백성에게로 가라 하도다. 세상의 모든 거민, 지상에 거하는 너희여 산들 위에 기호를 세우거든 너희는 보고 나팔을 불거든 너희는 들을찌니라.

* 사18:4~6. 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 내가 나의 처소에서 종용히 감찰함이 쬐이는 일광 같고 가을 더위에 운무 같도다. 추수하기 전에 꽃이 떨어지고 포도가 맺혀 익어 갈 때에 내가 낫으로 그 연한 가지를 베며 퍼진 가지를 찍어버려서 산의 독수리들에게와 땅의 들짐승들에게 끼쳐 주리니 산의 독수리들이 다 그것으로 과하하며 땅의 들짐승들이 다 그것으로 과동하리라 하셨음이니라.

* 강해) 그들은 추수할 때에 연한 가지 같아서 산의 독수리와 들짐승에게 먹힘을 당한다는 것은 아무런 열매 없는 땅이 되고 만다는 것입니다. 북방이 산의 독수리같이 강하고 짐승 같은 세력을 일으킬 때까지 하나님께서는 조용히 계시겠다는 것입니다. 아마 아프리카에서는 새 시대 백성은 있겠지만 변화 성도가 거의 나오지 않을 것입니다. 태양이 공중에 소리 없이 조용히 있듯이 잠잠히 그때까지는 조용히 계시다가 하나님께서 일어나시면 새로운 세상이 온다는 것입니다.
아프리카 사람이 북방 짐승과 독수리 같은 그 세력에게 몽땅 먹힐 때까지 하나님께서 잠잠히 계시고 일어나 심판하시고 새 시대가 올 것입니다. 후삼년 반 짐승 정권 통치시대가 지나야 심판이 됩니다(계13장 수정통치 및 16장 대접 재앙 심판). 후 삼년반 동안을 과하하며 과동 한다고 하였습니다.
