* 사8:11~15. 여호와께서 강한 손으로 내게 알게 하시며 이 백성의 길로 행치 말 것을 내게 경성시켜 가라사대 이 백성이 맹약한 자가 있다 말하여도 너희는 그 모든 말을 따라 맹약한 자가 있다 하지 말며 그들의 두려워하는 것을 너희는 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말고 만군의 여호와 그를 너희가 거룩하다 하고 그로 너희의 두려워하며 놀랄 자를 삼으라. 그가 거룩한 피할 곳이 되시리라 그러나 이스라엘의 두 집에는 거치는 돌, 걸리는 반석이 되실 것이며 예루살렘의 거민에는 함정, 올무가 되시리니 많은 사람들이 그로 인하여 거칠 것이며 넘어질 것이며 부러질 것이며 걸릴 것이며 잡힐 것이니라.

환란이 올 때 북방과 협상하면 망하고 북방을 두려워하지도 말고 협상하지도 말고  하나님을 두려워해야 피난처가 있다는 것입니다. 너희들이 협상하면 옛날 이스라엘 두 집이 협상하다가 망한 것같이 북방 열 지파가 사마리아가 되서 망하고 남 유다 두 지파도 협상하다가 예루살렘이 먹혔던 것입니다. 이것도 과거를 말하는 것이 아니며 반드시 하나님을 두려워하고 북방을 두려워하지 말고 하나님을 더 두려워해야 피난처가 있고 승리한다는 것입니다. 심판 때이므로 하나님의 종말의 역사에 참여 안하면 망하게 되는 것입니다. 이스라엘 두 집은 북 이스라엘(북한)과 남 유다(남한)가 되며 구교(천주교)와 신교(기독교)로 볼 수도 있고 은혜복음의 교회와 말세 복음의 교회로 이제는 바벨교회와 촛대교회로 볼 수도 있을 것입니다.

하나님께서 조용히 감찰하시고 계신 것은 불의의 세력을 강하게 역사하도록 해서 누가 그 세력 앞에 타협치 않나 그것을 살피고 계신 것입니다. 왜냐하면 하나님께서는 완전한 사람을 찾아서 역사하는 것이 아니고 하나님을 향하는 믿음의 절개가 있는 자에게 역사하시기 때문입니다. 언제나 하나님께서는 당신이 역사하시기 전에 먼저 마귀의 강한 세력을 들어서 택한 자녀를 까불어 보아서 불의의 세력과 타협을 하는 자는 음녀로 인정하고 타협치 않는 사람은 진실한 아내와 같이 인정하시고 그를 기뻐하시는 것입니다.

하나님께서 당신을 남편이라 하고 백성을 아내라고 말씀하신 것은 하나님을 두려워하고 절개를 지키는 자에게만 역사한다는 것을 가르친 말씀입니다. 이와 같이 하는 것은 하나님과 의합 된 사람을 찾기 위한 선한 방법입니다. 항상 우리가 하나님을 두려워하는 것은 소망이 없어서가 아니고 하나님은 진실하신 신이신 고로 조금이라도 변함이 있는 자를 함께 하지를 않기 때문입니다. 그러므로 실천할 인격이 없다 하여도 마음만은 변치 않아야 될 것입니다. 왜냐하면 중심을 보시는 하나님께서는 중심으로 하나님을 경외하는 자를 찾으시기 때문입니다.

하나님께서 언제나 말씀을 주시고 강한 마귀를 들어 쓰는 것은 누가 시험에 빠지나, 안 빠지나, 걸리나, 안 걸리나 시험해 보기 위한 방법입니다. 하나님께서는 당신을 공경하는 사람이 조금이라도 말씀에 탈선이 될 때는 함정과 올무가 되고, 말씀에 순종 할 때는 피난처가 되는 것입니다. 그러므로 우리가 가는 길에 함정과 올무가 있게 됩니다. 말씀에 순종하면 함정에 빠지지 않고 올무에 걸리지 않도록 역사하시는 하나님이십니다. 이러한 하나님이시므로 과거 이스라엘의 60만 대중이 가나안 복지를 향하여 가다가 다 함정과 올무에 빠졌고 여호수아와 갈렙 만이 남아서 순종하는 무리들로 가나안 복지에 들어갔고 바벨론 포로 생활에서 많은 사람이 예루살렘 복구를 목적하고 금식을 하며 기도하는 사람들이 있었지만 시련 가운데서 3, 4인이 단결되어 예루살렘을 복구하는 권리 행사를 진행하게 되었습니다.

그러므로 하나님께서는 우리의 피난처도 되시고 함정과 올무가 되는 것이니 하나님을 공경하는 사람은 두려워하지 않을 수 없습니다. 주님께서 말씀하시기를 당신이 다시 오실 때에는 예언을 지키는 자라야 복 있다고 한 것은 지키지 않으면 함정과 올무에 빠지는 것이요, 지키면 피난처가 되시는 하나님께서 남은 자가 되게 하여 새 땅의 왕권의 축복을 받게 하신다는 것입니다. 하나님의 법이라는 것은 사람이 행하라는 것이 아니요, 아무리 간교한 뱀이 꾀여도 당신을 경외하고 그 말씀만 순종하면 그 말씀대로 보호하고 말씀대로 복을 주시겠다는 것입니다.
