* 사11:10~12. 그날에 이새의 뿌리에서 한 싹이 나서 만민의 기호로 설 것이요 열방이 그에게로 돌아오리니 그 거한 곳이 영화로우리라 그날에 주께서 다시 손을 펴사 그 남은 백성을 앗수르와 애굽과 바드로스와 구스와 엘람과 시날과 하맛과 바다 섬들에서 돌아오게 하실 것이라 여호와께서 열방을 향하여 기호를 세우시고 이스라엘의 쫓긴 자를 모으시며 땅 사방에서 유다의 이산한 자를 모으시리니

세계통일의 기호는 싹 되신 예수로 말미암아 된다는 것인데 각 나라의 남은 자 쫓겨난 사람 유리하는 사람들이 모여들어서 깃발 아래 뭉치는 그들로 말미암아서 새 시대가 이루어진다는 말입니다.

그러므로 세계 통일의 기호는 반드시 십자가의 기호가 될 것입니다. 십자가는 서방에 한 일자와 동방의 한 일자가 합해서 십자가입니다. 십자가라는 것은 세계인류를 대표하여 승리를 이룬 십자가이니 십자가로 말미암아 하늘에서도 기뻐하고 땅에서도 기뻐한 일입니다. 낫과 망치를 들고 일어나서 남을 죽이고 피의 도성을 이루는 것이 소위 공산 국가라면 세계 인류의 죄를 대신하여 십자가에 죽은 승리로 이루어진 나라는 사랑의 동산입니다. 이 사랑이라는 것은 인간이 인간을 사랑하는 것이 아니요 조물주께서 인간을 사랑해서 역사하는 사랑이니 사람들의 역사와는 비교 할 수가 없습니다. 
그러므로 십자가의 기호는 붉은 깃발을 꺾어 넘기고 세계를 통일하는 기호가 된다는 것을 분명히 알아야 합니다. 이새의 뿌리에서 한 싹이 나서 기호가 된다는 것은 그리스도를 통하여 세계 통일의 기호가 서는 평화 왕국이 올 것을 가르친 것입니다.
본문은 어느 나라든지 십자가 기호를 중심하여 모여 든 무리들이 남은 자가 되어 새 시대를 이룰 것을 가르쳤습니다. 그러므로 십자가 기호의 세계 통일이 온다는 것을 아는 지식이 있어야만 남은 자가 될 것입니다.

그러므로 반석 위에 올라가서 하나님께서 알려 주신대로 기호를 꽂을 만한 자리가 있는 곳을 찾아보았는데 이상하게도 네모가 난 좁은 구멍이 약 석자 정도 뚫려 있는 것이었습니다. 그래서 그 구멍의 흙을 파내기 위하여 쇠를 두드려서 긁어 낼 수 있도록 만들어서 흙을 파낸 후에 쇠로 만든 깃대를 튼튼히 세우게 되었습니다.
그때에 하나님께서 알려 주시기를 “이 깃발 아래에서 역사가 일어나므로 열방을 깨우치리라”하시는 것이었습니다. 그때는 이해를 못했지만 이것이 세계 통일의 기호인 것입니다. 어떤 사람은 말씀은 옳은데 기호가 이단이라는 사람도 있는데 그것은 어리석은 사람이 하는 말입니다. 미약한 종도 수년전에 가서 확인 해 보았는데 정말로 자연적으로 뚫린 그런 구멍이 반석위에 있었습니다. 반드시 세계 통일의 기호가 서게 되므로 기독교 통일의 역사가 온다는 것은 본문 성경이 증거하고 있는 것입니다.

아무리 이스라엘이라 하여도 야곱의 길을 걸어가는 자라야만 남은 백성이 될 것입니다(사2:3).

하나님께서 이렇게 하시는 것은 택한 자들을 한데 모으기 위한 모략적인 방법입니다. 에서가 야곱을 쫓아내었던 것도 하나님의 말씀이 응하는 과정 이었고 열두 형제가 요셉을 쫓아내었던 것도 하나님 말씀이 응하는 과정이었습니다.
그러므로 음녀적인 사상을 가진 자들은 다 이방 세력에게 먹힘을 당할 것이로되 쫓겨난다 하여도 사상을 지키는 자들은 남은 자가 되어 한 단체를 이루어 새 시대의 영광을 누리게 될 것입니다.
