This chapter tells us that Hezekiah, who has true faith, abolishes idols and honors God, saying that no matter how the northern kingdom comes down strongly and surrounds Jerusalem and supports his regime, he can live in peace. When Hezekiah did not compromise, he tore his clothes and cried before God. When God appealed, God made an angel victory by annihilating the northern armies from the Assyrian camp.
This is a type of thing that has happened in the last days.
본 장은 참된 신앙을 가진 히스기야가 우상을 철폐시키고 하나님을 공경하는 왕으로써 아무리 북방이 강하게 내려와서 예루살렘을 둘러싸고 자기 정권을 지지하고 따라만 오면 평안히 살수가 있다고 말하면서 하나님을 믿지 말고 보호를 믿지 말라는 말을 할 적에 히스기야는 타협하지 않고 옷을 찢고 하나님 앞에 눈물 흘리며 호소 할 때 하나님께서 응답하시사 천사로 하여금 앗수르 진중에서 북방 군대를 전멸시킴으로 대 승리를 이룬 것입니다.
이것은 말세에 이와 같은 일이 있다는 것을 예표로 보여준 것입니다.

* Is.37:30~38. And this shall be a sign unto thee, You shall eat this year such as grew of itself; and the second year that which sprang of the same: and in the third year sow you, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.
By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD. For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.
And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
* 사37:30~38. 왕이여 이것이 왕에게 징조가 되리니 금년에는 스스로 난 것을 먹을 것이요 제 이년에는 또 거기서 난 것을 먹을 것이요 제 삼년에는 심고 거두며 포도나무를 심고 그 열매를 먹을 것이니이다. 유다 족속 중에 피하여 남는 자는 다시 아래로 뿌리를 박고 위로 열매를 맺히리니 이는 남는 자가 예루살렘에서 나오며 피하는 자가 시온에서 나올 것임이라. 만군의 여호와의 열심이 이를 이루시리이다. 그러므로 여호와께서 앗수르 왕에 대하여 가라사대 그가 이 성에 이르지 못하며 한 살도 이리로 쏘지 못하며 방패를 가지고 성에 가까이 오지도 못하며 흉벽을 쌓고 치지도 못할 것이요. 그가 오던 길 곧 그 길로 돌아가고 이 성에 이르지 못하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라. 대저 내가 나를 위하며 내 종 다윗을 위하여 이 성을 보호하며 구원하리라 하셨나이다. 여호와의 사자가 나가서 앗수르 진중에서 십팔만 오천 인을 쳤으므로 아침에 일찌기 일어나 본즉 시체뿐이라. 이에 앗수르 왕 산헤립이 떠나 돌아가서 니느웨에 거하더니 자기 신 니스록의 묘에서 경배할 때에 그 아들 아드람멜렉과 사레셀이 그를 칼로 죽이고 아라랏 땅으로 도망한고로 그 아들 에살핫돈이 이어 왕이 되니라.

* 강해) 하나님의 역사가 약 3~4년 정도 주기로 역사하시고 종도 기르십니다. 전쟁이 나고 회복하기까지를 나타내신 것이며 또한 전 삼년 반 우리나라의 생활과 후 삼년 반 예비처의 생활과 대접재앙 및 아마겟돈 후 재창조 기간 등이 해당 될 것입니다. 남은 종, 남은 백성들이 거룩한 씨가 되어 새 시대에 번성하는 것입니다.
그리고 우리나라도 이렇게 해야 합니다. 우리나라 형편이 히스기야 시대와 똑 같습니다. 살아계신 하나님을 향하여 기도할 때 36절에 천군이 와서 적군을 다 쳐 죽였습니다. 아람 군대가 망하듯이 미디안 군대가 망하듯이 그러한 일이 일어나게 됩니다.
요엘2:20절에는 나라와 민족을 위한 금식과 기도 응답으로 동해로 서해로 북방 군대가 들어가 썩게 될 것을 예언했습니다. 무소불능의 하나님이시니 천군 천사 들어서 북방을 치게 될 것이며 낙심 말고 기도해야 합니다.
지금도 그 은혜가 불로 응답 받는 은혜의 진액으로 계속 내리는 것입니다. 공산당을 물리치는 것은 미군이 아니고 하나님께서 하시는 것입니다.

Hezekiah rejected the words of the king of Assyria, climbed into the temple, prayed earnestly to God, and then answering, and annihilating 185,000.

히스기야는 앗수르 왕의 말을 거부하고 성전에 올라가서 하나님께 간절히 기도했고 그때 응답이 내려 18만 5천 명을 전멸시켰습니다.
기드온 300용사도 항아리와 횃불로 미디안 군대 십삼만 오천 명과 싸워 십이만 명을 물리쳐 죽였습니다. 그리하여 순교자의 호소와 우리의 호소와 기도가 합하여 응답이 내려와서 승리하게 될 것입니다.
하나님 앞에 응답 받는 신앙의 기도 용사가 필요한 때입니다. 하나님의 예정된 섭리 속에 모든 일이 이루어지는 줄 믿고 이 시대에 산 신앙이 필요하며 신앙준비가 중요합니다. 이 환란에서 남은 자가 복 받게 될 것을 31~32절에 말했습니다.
여호와의 열심이 임하는 자와 그 단체를 보호하는 것이며 하나님의 보호를 받는 지역이 있을 것을 33~34절에 말씀했습니다.
예비 된 사명자들이 기둥 같은 종으로 일어나서 촛대교회를 세우게 될 것이고 그 지역이 보호처가 되고 안정처가 되어 보호 받게 될 것입니다. 참으로 하나님 앞에 인정받을 신앙을 준비해야 합니다.

@ But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he had done great things.(Joel.2:20).
@ 내가 북편 군대를 너희에게서 멀리 떠나게 하여 메마르고 적막한 땅으로 쫓아내리니 그 전군은 동해로, 그 후군은 서해로 들어갈 것이라 상한 냄새가 일어나고 악취가 오르리니 이는 큰일을 행하였음이니라 하시리라(욜2:20).
@ And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men.
And they shall waste the land of Assyria with the sword, and the land of Nimrod in the entrances thereof: thus shall he deliver us from the Assyrian, when he came into our land, and when he trod within our borders.(Mic.5:6~7).
@ 이 사람은 우리의 평강이 될 것이라 앗수르 사람이 우리 땅에 들어와서 우리 궁들을 밟을 때에는 우리가 일곱 목자와 여덟 군왕을 일으켜 그를 치리니 그들이 칼로 앗수르 땅을 황무케 하며 니므롯 땅의 어귀를 황무케 하리라 앗수르 사람이 우리 땅에 들어와서 우리 지경을 밟을 때에는 그가 우리를 그에게서 건져 내리라(미5:6~6).
